Good1) Movo mics tend to be too loud and this mic is no exception but GoPro is fine. I tested the microphone as soon as I received it. The microphone was attached to the GoPro's chest strap, halfway between the camera and my chin. I spoke in a low, almost whispering voice, and the mic picked it up nicely and clearly. As for the wind noise, I added my dead cat so there is no wind noise. Overall I like this microphone. This is a big improvement over the built-in microphone. Cons1) In my opinion the microphone cable is too long and here is why. The vast majority of GoPro owners will not use a wired GoPro Lava Microphone on a gimbal bike, car, etc. I have a feeling that anyone buying a mic for a store will have a GoPro by their side. Why is the cable so damn long? It just gets in the way. I would be fine with a 2 foot cord. 2) I would really like this adapter if it was at a 90Β° angle instead of straight. It sticks out far enough that I see it getting hit often, which can damage your GoPro's input jack. Conclusion All in all, this is a decent mic with acceptable sound that's a lot better than the built-in mic. I would definitely buy it again.
