Obviously, you can see the cover. But nobody cares

I put this on to protect a new purchase. When I was doing so, I noticed that there was definitely clear visibility of the difference between the covered part of the aluminum and the raw aluminum Macbook Pro case. However, after a couple of weeks, I've totally forgotten it's even there. This stuff is seriously rugged, I would take a key to my brand new $4000+ laptop and not even bat an eye. No peeling at the edges, no discoloration. Really makes me happy with protecting my investment.

Prevent your new laptop to avoid scratches by watch, buckles, jewelry and other metal objects

May obscure the MacBook's design, rendering it less recognizable

The track pad cover has a little ridge like it is not a perfect fit. Does not affect function and the package arrived bent and so it has a little wrinkle I cannot iron out. Other than that I am happy with this. It will protect this portion of the Mac from cosmetic damage.
