I guess I should have read the reviews before buying this item, due to the fact that the color of the space grey is way off mark! If you are looking for something to protect your computer from scratches, then 5 stars all day, but as far as cosmetics, it's a horrible match, it actually looks more silver than space grey, need to fix this ASAP! Heck my Ethernet adapter did a better job if color matching and it's made of aluminum.

I feel like this palm rest is pretty well designed. It installed easily after thorough cleaning of the Macbook Pro top plate - no bubbles etc. By design the adhesive for these types of products is not very strong. It has to be forgiving or you would never be able to remove it. The outer right corner has become curled up and damaged. Yesterday I took my computer to work with me and got the trackpad and palm rest areas sweaty and dirty. When I got home I immediately put this on and it was so nice! It took about 5 tries to get it correctly aligned and never had any issues with bubbles. I also have a case on my laptop and this skin fits well in it without being lifted on the sides. The trackpad is still sensitive as ever and while the color/finish is different, I don't think it's that noticeable.

Bought it to protect my new MBPro 16 against body oils. Installation is easy after you clean your laptop with the provided cleanup pad, it can be applied quickly and can be reapplied if you don't put it on straight the first time. The entire bottom part of my laptop is covered and the cover for my trackpad covers it pretty much completely. I'm a practical person with a utilitarian mindset. It's fine. It mostly lines up perfectly with edges etc. You get a lot of value for the money. Buy this if you want to protect your machine from fading, scratches, etc, without breaking the bank. The giant sticker arrived faded in two corners which is only visible at night. The portion near the speakers lifts up occasionally. Regardless, I think it will make it. I'd buy again.

I like the quality and ease of application of this product. I have a brand new, out-of-the-box 2020 Space Grey 16", 1 Tb MBP Space Grey, ($2800+ investment). The color match is almost, if not spot-on. I began applying and halfway through, checked for glue residue by lifting it up a little, and there was none; zero, just as advertised. So far, I am well pleased and would definitely recommend it.

This palm rest is very nice. I found the it doesn't completely perfectly match the spacing of the palm rests on both sides of the trackpad, but it's very close. Same thing right around where you open your laptop from. I put this on to protect a new purchase. When I was doing so, I noticed that there was definitely clear visibility of the difference between the covered part of the aluminum and the raw aluminum Macbook Pro case. However, after a couple of weeks, I've totally forgotten it's even there. This stuff is seriously rugged, I would take a key to my brand new $4000+ laptop and not even bat an eye. No peeling at the edges, no discoloration. Really makes me happy with protecting my investment.

Overall, it is very easy to install and does not affect too much of the sensitivity of the trackpad. You have to trim the edges of the trackpad protector by following the matte clear sticker on the back of it otherwise it will overlap with the palm rest cover skin. The feeling is a little rougher than the actual MacBook and the color does not blend in as much as it looks like it does in the picture, but it is expected. Overall lovely. Waiting to see the durability of this protector.

The larger portion (for the palm rest area) fits well. The sticker for the trackpad area is too large for the 2020 release 16" MacBook Pro. It is too large and hangs over the edge of the trackpad area. The thickness is nice and feels like it will last a while. Bummed that the trackpad portion does not fit. That is really what I needed to protect from wear.
