. It fit the DVD cartridge I removed from the laptop but the clear protective film on the back and even the instruction labels remained on the insides the DVD hang laptop while I did not delete both. We're talking about a 1 mm difference. The original literally falls, while this one takes quite a bit of pressure, but it works. I haven't attempted to assemble the DVD frame from the original case, although I would like both to be available for use so I can create just one for the hard drive case. The way it fits into the Lenovo without grabbing anything makes it difficult to remove (as expected as it takes a lot of pressure to insert).
