let's start with the bad. Although this camera is sold as a model for a specific model, the instructions are general in nature. They contain photos and diagrams of unrelated options. There are no connection instructions at all, either a reverse trigger, always on, or both. The device comes with built-in instructions that are far from reality. There is a very small adjustment (screws behind the tailgate handle) but pretty much useless. At the camera end you can route the power supply to the rear backup light OR you can find a separate 12v power supply from the tow hitch wires. So the camera gets power and you switch to that input and see what's behind you. Then you can connect to the reverse line near the main unit, and it will switch to the camera automatically when switch to reverse. I haven't seen night vision yet. Just inserted. That gives you enough wire length. I would recommend that they just change the design so that the camera is adjustable, sort of like a hinge.
