Much more than it appears online. It seems a little slow to spin, but it's powerful and doesn't stop working on it by pressure. I have used it with sponges to clean a stainless steel kitchen sink and it has worked well. Once the scrub pads are attached to the Velcro, they will come loose if you try to remove them. It comes with 4 Chinese made batteries, however I recommend the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (requires 4 AA batteries) as they will never leak or damage your scrubber, they are much more powerful, their lifespan seems to last forever, and for the ones that are in storage have a shelf life of 25-30 years (stock up - they don't go bad - and then you'll be ready when you need them for your scrubber, lights, etc.). They're too strong for some things, but they work great with this scrubber. Use cheaper batteries for things that require less power or that won't work with very powerful lithium batteries.
