Review on Medium Waterproof Bicycle Messenger Backpack by Jamie Dawson

Cool bag but with major flaws

I like the simplicity of this bag. But here are the cons: 1. The velcro is shorter by about 1.5 inches. No matter how you roll it up, the velcro doesn't hide the spiky part of the bag. It's an easy fix for the manufacturer, and it's a bit disconcerting that they haven't fixed it considering others here have complained about the same thing. The bag is already a bit worn at the bottom corners. I don't think time will fix it. I don't know what to do here. The problem is not big enough to make me return the bag.3. Would have liked an extra inner pocket. One that is slightly looser than the front pocket. Nothing fits in the front pocket anymore, such as earplug bags, medication, vitamins, etc. Things that you don't want to dig out of the main compartment. The front pocket is only suitable for passport, ID card and other flat items.4. A hook/loop for keys inside would also be nice. Keys get scratched and tangled when stored in the main compartment. The loop inside solves this problem.5. The material (I'm embarrassed to call it fabric) is quite stiff. That worries me about durability. My guess is that the material is pitting where it flexes a lot. Otherwise I really like how this bag looks and feels on the back. I believe it will be good for my bike rides which is why I bought it. Even the little one has more than enough space for everything I need.
