Review on Kuhn Rikon Swiss Peeler 4 Inch by Dawn Webster

I purchased this peeler after seeing its recommendations in several cocktail books and its use at my favorite distillery. I hosted a cocktail party the same night it was delivered and was overjoyed to make the right toppings. The very first thing I tried was a slice of lemon. I have not been able to make a strip of bowl longer than two inches, which is quite unsuitable for decoration. After several tries, the blade flew out of the vegetable peeler's forks and went straight into MY EYE. I was fortunate to avoid serious injury and given the prestige this company exudes, I am simply disappointed in the poor workmanship. I'll admit mine may have been an accident but if you ordered this please be careful.
