Update 3 months after installation: As I have bought 2 for each of my heaters it is time to replace them. So I did. The pairing was a nightmare. The app wanted to continue pairing with the old filters. I had to rip the battery out of the old filter. Then the new filter does not connect because of "invalid access key". We have enough problems with the technology in mobile phones etc. now we have to fight with AIR FILTERS for our heaters? Truth? Not for me. I ripped off the PDA's blue tooth and removed the battery, then smashed it up and threw it in the trash. what a stupid idea. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY. This idea is rubbish and the app is nothing more than a ploy to trick you into buying more of those empty money products. DOES NOT WORK - but will happily collect your personal information through the app! Uninstalled app and unplugged Bluetooth devices. You pay extra for the Bluetooth connection, but it doesn't work that well. I literally have to stand in front of the heaters (I have 2) and hold my phone (pixel 3xl) next to the heaters to get the update. Sometimes you have to go into bluetooth settings and tell the phone to look for the filter and sometimes it finds it and sometimes it doesn't. When connected, it only tells you the percentage remaining and the outside air quality based on your location. I wouldn't pay extra for this bluetooh trick again. Apart from that, filtrate filters have always been the preferred choice due to their efficiency.
