The instructions provided with this camera are for the backup camera in general, not for installing a combination license plate and backup camera. In the beginning I connected the cables wrong. Virtually no tech support, just illiterate emails from someone in China at navinio@hotmail. When communicating with the person on the other end, he or she only replied at night due to the time difference and after three email exchanges became very rude and told me to have my family help me install. Eventually I figured out the correct wiring, but then I discovered that the camera didn't snap firmly into place where the old license plate light was. Due to the fact that I installed another wiring from Navinio in the car, going from the trunk to the dashboard screen, I cannot return the camera. I will look for another seller.
