Review on ๐Ÿšฝ Danco 88018 Toilet Hinges - 2 Pack for Improved Performance and Durability by Tropingzz Cece

Cheap flimsy plastic that requires some tricks to install

For some reason these are the only replacement hinges I can find both online and in stores. It must be some kind of crazy prank on the PRC's part to disappoint the Americans as they look like they'll fit, but they're unlikely to come out of the box. There are no instructions so give yourself a few hours as you won't be able to properly assemble the parts. first time. In order for them to fit properly and be fully tightened, you will need to drill a new hole or holes and may need an impact wrench. (The ones you use with a hammer, not a power tool) First assemble all the hinge parts that attach to the seat and lid, and attach them to the toilet last. The parts that bolt onto the toilet must be installed backwards from your old hardware or the seat/lid will not stand upright or fit properly on the toilet. I only managed to get it to work by drilling a hole in the seat, but that didn't help. It is very difficult to fully tighten the screws, so an impact tool is needed. You may be able to use a good power screwdriver, but you're more likely to pull the screw out if you don't have a flat bench and vise. This is for you, it's frustrating, hard work even with the right tools and the ability to use them.
