I like the idea of hiding the splitters and surge protectors in these plastic boxes. They create a very clean look by replacing the clutter of cables that was lying on the floor with a nice little white box with a faux wood lid. The boxes are very easy to use, just take your surge protector and place it in the box with the output wires on both ends and close the lid, that's all you need to install. There are cable ties in the package. The box itself has soft feet, which is nice. I wish the lid was a little more durable. I haven't had any issues, but I wouldn't put anything heavier than a phone or tablet on it.
