I used one of these on Mount Eisenhower in New Hampshire recently while crouching before sunrise. Wind (gusts no more than 45 m / s) completely tore it apart. I had to chase pieces of it over the top. This is a cheap survival blanket that tears easily. Not the stiffer materials I've used before.
