I bought this product for 2.5 and 5 year olds. The box says it's for 6+ so I was concerned they wouldn't be able to complete the task on their own. However, it was easy enough for the girls to do it on their own (for the most part - they need help sprinkling in the glitter so it doesn't get everywhere). The girls loved being able to choose their own combinations of sparkles and glitter to create the perfect lip balm. The only thing that disappointed me were the decals. We had a hard time getting them to stick to the bins. After reading the instructions again, I realized I should have applied them before making lip balm. This set would make a wonderful gift for any little girl!
