Based on the reviews and the sponsor's website that said it was comparable to Haiku, I gave it a try. Big mistake, nowhere near as good quality and the one I got had a clicking and grinding noise so I had to take it apart and try to fix it but it came from the engine indicating poor quality control. Ordering blades separately is problematic and you're better off having a really large and relatively empty wall box to mount them. Much more effort and time was required, especially to level the 16ft ceiling. Remote was blurry on and off, fan speed and air movement not very impressive, came back and started working on haiku, also bought some minkas and they are better built than Emerson. Another weak point - Emerson says it's versatile, but uses a non-standard 1/2 vise with no 3/4 thread, which is a bit too flexible and not as tight as a 3/4 thread.
