That was exactly what I needed for my guinea pig cage :). I have my guinea pigs in XL (42x28) and XXL (48x30) dog cages with second tiers that I built from storage cubes and the fleece was a hassle to clean as I had to remove the entire second tier from the dog cage to get it out. I couldn't switch to paper litter as the plastic dog crate pan was so flat and couldn't hold anything loose so I bought these so I could switch. This was exactly what I wanted and while using storage cubes as a cage would be a lot easier than dog crates, my rescue hogs don't all get along and I need to be able to stack my cages on top of others so I started making them to use to start with. Deff recommends using this floor with mesh cubes to store a rabbit or guinea pig cage!
