As far as coffee grinders go, this one isn't bad. However, there are more disadvantages than advantages. The noise level is higher than with a conventional coffee grinder. There are about 35 settings from coarse to very fine, and the at does an excellent job of grinding a French Press. But coffee cup settings are disabled, only grind about 9 cups for 12 cups of coffee. It's easy to clean, but feels like you're cleaning the counter more with coffee beans than what gets on the plastic canister. I think the problem, and I'm not a scientist, is that the plastic container generates too much static electricity. If you remove the container after grinding, the grist will be all over the place and you will likely need wax paper under the grinder to catch the escaping grist. The funnel lid is a bit original because it has a measuring cup and cleaning brush inside, which is a nice plus. I ended up returning the product because it takes too long to grind coffee and clean the counter instead of enjoying a delicious cup of coffee.
