I recently bought a VISNFA-PB03-A for $13.95, 10% off the coupon. I rode it 50 miles yesterday and was impressed enough to write a review so anyone who buys from reviews can see if it's worth the money or not. I've already bought a broken phone holder from Revain so if it lasts more than a few long rides it's worth it. and I use my phone for everything; BT music / HR monitoring / GPS speed / route display, so I wish I could see it all the time. It must be stable and the display must always be on/open. The phone is a OnePlus 5 with an OP5 carbon fiber body (6 3/16" x 3 1/16" x 3/8" deep). Those who are really serious about it will not mount their phone on the bike. Details: - The dimensions given by the manufacturer do not match. When fully "compressed" or retracted, it measures 4.5" x 2.4" on the front. The measuring depth from the front of the phone to the bottom of the tension clamp is 4.0". The numbers are NOT 4.4 x 2.2 x 2.7 as advertised. More on that below. Despite the skewed measurements, it weighs less than advertised. The photo shows nearly 3.5 ounces in Compared to the advertised 5.1 ounces (I used all the stem spacers and the thickest styrofoam spacer so it's actually less than 3.4 ounces) For me as a newbie it doesn't matter, just thought I'd mention it Material is plastic with the exception of the metal locking screws/nuts and although it may appear flimsy when If you're a rough guy who likes to bend things in directions, they're not designed to withstand up to $12 abuse for a few months. Not a big deal if you're mounting it on a bike via narrow bars, but it measures 3 inches from the face of the phone to the centerline of the bar you're mounting it to. Pros: - great value for money - stable, light - strong phone clip, quick release: - it's a bit big, not a big deal if you don't have problems with overhead clearance as it's pretty stable despite limited diameter choices / pole mounts ( hence the 4 stars for versatility). Perhaps the supplier could consider purchasing a clamp to measure the diameter of the rod.
