They look cheap, fake, and tasteless, but they're actually durable.
I bought them to plant plants and they are strong. For the price I think this could be a good deal depending on your tolerance for low quality furniture. I keep them as they are hidden behind my counters so you can't see them anyway and they do their job as plant stands. How about the bedside tables? No way. They look like VERY obviously fake wood. The thin wood grain vinyl decal is dented in places and starting to peel off a bit and I've had them for less than a week.
