I really like this drone - it's durable, attractive, light weight, small and comes with an attractive body and three batteries. I love how the batteries attach to the drone and I'm really impressed that each battery actually has a built in IR detector to make obstacle avoidance easier, along with IR detectors on the other three sides of the drone Drone. The batteries charge fairly quickly and provide enough charge for a long flight. This drone has some great features, but the implementation of these features feels experimental at best. Hands free, drop drone and watch it fly mode is chaotic and crazy; This mode assumes that you can fly the drone by placing your hands on any of the four sides of the drone. The drone actually flies like crazy and good luck catching it before it hits the ceiling (ie don't try it from the outside as you might never see the drone again). Also, good luck catching to close it; Chasing down four rotating blades that move randomly is pretty intimidating. Luckily, cages on all sides of each blade make this task safe enough for adults, but I wouldn't recommend letting younger kids attempt it. fly, the box warns that children under the age of 14 should not operate it. I definitely agree that inexperienced drone pilots under the age of 10 should not fly this drone. As for the "normal" navigation modes, they seem to be fairly reliable, except that sometimes the drone is tempted to perform the "tumble-in-place" trick without the user actually pressing the button for that mode pressed. Also, the Return Home feature doesn't work at all as advertised - it just launches the drone backwards non-stop. The remote control is very well designed and the independent trim buttons make it easy to achieve stable flight and drift. hang free. The speed control button is very nice - turning on the high speed makes you feel like a drone racer.
