What I like: - seems to stick well - thick - seems easy to clean - seems to offer good surface protection and doesn't puncture easily (so be careful if you try to prick big bubbles to push the air out).- Has grid lines on the back to make it easier to cut in a straight line. What I don't like: - Adhesive is uneven/cloudy, almost opaque in places making the surface look dirty - Impossible to clean and reposition without spoiling the look - Unclear It's translucent. To be honest if it was constantly blurry and didn't have those white streaks I wouldn't care but as you can see in the before and after photos the surface I applied it to was very clean and it were no strange spots. The white spots in the photos afterward are either glue, or a million tiny bubbles, or both. They happened before I tried to change the situation. I was hoping to cover my stainless steel stovetop so I don't have to clean and polish it every time I cook. (I hate seeing leftover oil splatters on appliances). And honestly, I wouldn't care if it wasn't crystal clear, as long as it was at least "foggy" all the time. Also, any surface will look dirty as you cannot remove stains without leaving fingerprints on the adhesive. I don't think the roll I received was of the best quality. This might have been a one off issue but I won't be buying another reel to find out. It would be great to cover the work surface for convenience. Cleaning if you don't care about looks.
