Review on FilterBuy 20X20X1 Pleated Furnace Filters by Kevin Apriando

I've been using these filters on subscription and stock for about two years. They were satisfactory because, honestly, what do you really want from an air filter? I hadn't noticed much noise from them before, but in the last batch we received it sounded like there was a waterfall in our bedroom. I also noticed a distinct whistle coming from the filter vent, meaning the filter was struggling to let air through, causing the air to quickly overflow the edges of the filter! It was bad enough that my wife had to sleep in a different room. We quickly switched to Filtrete 3M 1500 filters (thanks for Revain's 2 day delivery) and the noise level was reduced by a factor of 10. These new filters were even quieter than the old filters, which actually worked properly! Just pay extra for 3M filters, don't buy them.
