step came quickly. It seems like a pretty drastic step. When pre-assembling the parts on the second screw, I had trouble getting the screw in because the hole seemed too small. I called tech support and spoke to a rep who said there might be powder coating residue on the threads in the hole. So I tried a few more times and finally concluded that the part wasn't cut at the factory. I took the part to my local auto repair shop and they were able to cut one hole to fit the other. However, it cost me $30, which I wasn't happy about as the threads had to be factory tapped. Now that it's operational, access to the back of the truck is much easier. It's a solid mechanism that integrates perfectly under the bumper. This would have been a 5 star rating if I hadn't taken the time and expense of cutting the part. It works well on the 2017 F-350.
