This is a sturdy and well made footrest that will help access the roof of your SUV. The price was right and the Revain seller is very responsive. One of the main concerns and why I gave it 4 stars and returned it is that it will NOT fit the 2020 Subaru Outback (Touring model although I guess the model doesn't matter). I bought this for an extended 2017 Ram 3500 platform with two aluminum wheels to free up the fifth wheel and fill the extra fuel tank. There are 2 tire width settings and the Ram 3500 uses the narrow setting twice. There are no problems with the gap between the dual tires. There are 3 height settings. I am using this on a Ford F250 with 20" tires and it works perfectly. I would say a 20 inch tire (my tire size is 275x65xR20) is the max extension you can use this unit on.
