The item is ok but not fully compliant with the description.

I took it for a computer (games), it works with Ultimate Sym1 shelf speakers and a Yamaha NS-SW100 subwoofer. Sounds good, but max. the volume is not enough, in this respect the 4-series is better. Receiver manufacturers stubbornly continue to rivet a large 6.3 headphone jack, although a small 3.5 mini-jack is commonly used. I connected 3 different pairs of headphones through a proprietary adapter to this jack with different cables, as a result, only one headphone worked and only through the cable that came with them, and it is short. But even in them, the sound was very quiet and deaf, as if from a barrel, and hissing begins at high volume! I consider this a significant disadvantage, it is better to test your headphones in advance in the store, who plans to connect them to the receiver! First of all, after connecting the speakers, you need to correctly set the exact distance to each of them in the settings. This is very important, because even a difference of 0.5 can knock down the stereo image and the sound effect is blurry. It is better to fine-tune by ear during playback at a comfortable volume, it is better not to use auto-tuning. Separately, I note the OSD menu, it seems that it was developed 20 years ago, and has not been changed since then. It is outdated, ugly, uncomfortable, the font is unpleasant to the eyes, the backlight is not adjustable and not bright enough, it is not customizable in any way and is generally . Fortunately, you rarely have to use it, but itโ€™s a pity that you canโ€™t turn off the display output at all. In general, a simple receiver for undemanding users, they could have made it smaller, otherwise it wouldnโ€™t fit anywhere, I had to look for a separate place for it. For music/movies I would recommend the 4 series or another brand altogether. IMHO, it's not worth the money it's being sold for (~20k). 3 out of 5
