Fitted yesterday, some disc brakes are slightly quieter on the back of the pads although this may not have been necessary. The clamp (holds the pad to the fixed side of the caliper) seemed a little long; It didn't have the same V-shaped notch in the center of the clamp as the OEM pads, which made assembly a bit odd. Finally, after wrapping the retaining clip around the caliper body, we used some channel locks to pull the center of the retaining clip toward the caliper body (parallel to the pads) to lock it in place. The pads work great so far, they don't make any noise out of the box.
