They hold a lot more than most of the other brands; my 1.5 yr old crushes 2 of the 4oz store bought pouches in under a minute so I knew I needed something bigger. The curvy shape makes them easy to rinse before putting them in the dish washer-- food doesn't get caught in corners or anything. I bought another brand to tryat the same time and they don't rinse out as easily.Haven't had any issues with mold in the pouch or in the zipper; I'd read a lot of negative reviews on multiple brands about mold in the zipper, but I'm pretty sure thats user error/lack of sanitation. Just don't over fill them and rinse them out within 24 hours of your kid finishing them and it should be fine! The zipper is a little hard to open the first few times, but it gets easier. Closing it is the harder part because you have to use quite a bit of pressure, but you're also trying not to spill anything!Pro tip 1: use a funnel (or flange if you pump!) to fill the pouches quickly and easily.Pro tip 2: press the zipper closed by laying just the end of the pouch on the edge of the counter and press down on the zipper using your thumb. or whatever finger works best for you.
