I use this box for easy storage of tea bags and I can fit three rows of 10-12 tea bags in each row. It's too narrow to place facing the narrow ends, which I was hoping would work, but as I can put quite a bit of tea in it makes a good tea sorter. I'm going to get a second one so I can use one for caffeinated teas and the other for herbal teas. In them, the tea is stored denser and more easily accessible than in a tea box. I also received a large tea box to store the rest of the tea; that allows us to buy a box of tea, sort a few bags into one of those little boxes, and then put the rest in the big tea box underneath to overflow. It is well made with no visible splinters. or problems.
