Not easy, hard to set up. I bought this sole to use M10 and M12 rivets. The recommendations included are small, short and bad. I spent about an hour setting up the M10 driving tool for the first time. Everyone says don't squeeze the handles so I kept that in mind. Eventually I found out through trial and error that you want to thread the nut of the rivet only partially, leaving a space at the end between the rivet and the tip of the mandrel roughly equal to the thickness of your surface you're driving into. Now my cranks were about 30 degrees apart before hitting the compression point, but that helped and with about 20 ft-lbs of force they closed and attached the rivet to the frame. It's not a bad tool, but not that well made, probably fine for casual use. If you work with a lot of media I would recommend something more industrial.
