Bought to make protein shakes and have been using for a few months with no problems. Blends well, just note you can't use ice or frozen fruit. It's more of a makeshift dorm mixer than a kitchen appliance because it's so cheap. Putting the whole arm in to wash with a sponge is difficult because it's narrow, but it's not really a problem. I would recommend because it mixes well and quickly (30-45 seconds for some bananas, milk, yogurt and protein powder :)
