My wife used these to try to remove stains from old quilt blocks she found and bought at a thrift store and loved them, they were all handpicked but we were quite stained and so was she thought they were stored in a wooden box and looked at them there were stains on the damp wood that were taken out of the wood. Most came out after soaking several batches in the recovery solution. You need to stop at some point before it starts staining the fabric. She hasn't used them yet, but she will. She will be buying more Restoration Soak as well, I know she has been using this product for what feels like forever, she has been quilting for at least 40 years, I don't know how long she has been using Restoration, but it has been good. Bye. Just stop before it starts wearing off the original color from the fabric! There used to be no products like Retain to hold fabric colors in place so they wouldn't bleed or fade!
