Because I don't play, the only reason I use the additional buttons is out of habit. They are located on the left. My mouse does not have any buttons. They are still inactive, but the utility software for the device allows you to customize them to meet particular requirements and attach certain actions to them. There is a button located below; it can connect to several computers (up to three different ones), but I have not tested it out. Got pros: It is functional on any surface. The battery is able to keep its charge for a very long time. Unbroken and easy navigation (for most bulls now it has no inertia - how much it twisted, so much it scrolled). This is not the case; the wheel is definitely made of metal, and you can spin it with your heart to enjoy limitless scrolling until the wheel stops spinning because of inertia:) The size of the mouse is about great; it's not too huge and it's not too small. Does not break into pieces when it is dropped on the ground. The click on the wheel is very deep and tight, which makes it inconvenient to use the scroll wheel to open links in a new tab. This is one of the product's drawbacks. I was able to retrain myself in just one week because to the fact that there is a distinct button on the top of the device.
