UPDATE: I washed it for the first time yesterday after using at the beach and on a trail. It had gotten dirt and sand on it. After putting it through the laundry, the dirt had totally stained the towel and refuses to come out. Now, there's a big brown patch in the middle. When I tried to hand wash that part, fibers rubbed off and black fuzz appeared. Not happy that it did so poorly in the laundry, and dirt REALLY sticks to it!ORIGINAL: I love how compact this towel can get! It's great to stuff in a bag and not take up any space or add weight. I used it at the pool and beach and it is totally absorbent. However, for a microfiber towel, it's definitely not quick drying. It took as long to dry as a regular terry-cloth beach towel would. Still like it, and the size is just right for me, since I didn't want it to cover my whole body anyway.
