Can be tricky because there is an issue that WiFi cannot be turned off if you later decide to set up Ethernet instead. I ended up leaving mine on WIFI. There is no longer a QR code for the "box" itself. This confused me a bit at first because outdated YouTube videos said otherwise. QR codes are now (v 4) shipped with every plugin. I use TP Link for bulbs and switches, a Harmony hub, an Orbit lawn sprinkler system, and a Nest thermostat. Pretty simple, but you need to add information about some plugins. I'm not a computer genius, but I'm pretty good at navigating. In general, it's worth it. It might just take a little patience. I ended up wasting many unnecessary hours due to the above issues. I also didn't have good WiFi during installation, which caused devices to be a little slower to respond after installing plugins. I've since added TP Link Deco Mesh to my small home and everything has worked flawlessly. I really love this device.
