I have known A4tech since the X-740XL, an optic that is still alive today. At the moment, she has the last set of legs left, and the cord has already been replaced, but it should be noted that she is over 6 years old. I took X-747N as a replacement - while waiting for the wire. The kit also includes 2 sets of spare legs, however, instead of a disk with software - a cardboard link - in my opinion, this is no worse than a CD, because it's easier to download software than to look for a disk. Now for the software itself: Anti-vibrate Oscar Editior gets up and connects perfectly, for a simple user the settings are more than enough, the software language is 2022. There is an anti-vibration setting, and a polling rate setting. To whom this is not enough, he can assemble the macro himself. Well, now about the rodent itself, in shape, weight, and the number of buttons is no different from the optics described above, the differences lie in the laser and sensor, namely, first of all, the laser does not glow, and therefore you should not expect that turning the mouse over you will see the usual red light, just as you should not try to see anything inside, with the mouse connected, the laser works much more accurately than optics, and if you can safely play with the second one on any rag, even on shorts if they are normally stretched, then with a laser such a chip is not will pass. Due to the lack of a rug (I hope that it is temporary), I tried almost everything that was at home - the leather folder showed itself best of all. The optical sensor, everything is also configured through the Oscar, but the range is higher, and the step at small values is smaller. In general, what I can write is that the mouse is not small, it won’t fit Thumbelinas, it’s heavy, although its mass can be adjusted, it doesn’t glow - it’s especially dangerous for imbeciles. And of course, it is worth remembering the side buttons, and a triple click. My palm allows me to use all of them, although it's worth noting that the distance to the triple click could be a little less. In general, if you had X-7 in your hands and it didn’t seem big to you, then you can safely take it, and of course you will have to get used to it, like any other mouse.
