It's important to mention that this lamp only gets four points instead of five because of the non-sustainable styrofoam inner packaging, which hopefully will one day be replaced with recyclable one Material. For the most part, I can recycle other packaging materials, but for those who cannot use How2Recycle waste, there are many additional materials that can be added to the trash. Aside from the packaging (which had a roughly 3 inch tear despite the steps on the lampshade, but it wasn't big enough or deep enough to worry about returning it), I'm very happy with this lamp. The assembly is very easy. Took me about 10 minutes to complete the assembly with no additional tools except that the lightbulb is not included. The stick is much stronger than those I've bought in the past. The lighting is bright enough to fill the room with soothing shades of yellow. This lamp plugs into the wall for anyone wanting to know if this works. I also like how light the lamp is despite the rather heavy base. Overall, I recommend this lamp for its low price, timely delivery and easy assembly.
