I bought a 10 liter snorkel, the perfect size for river rafting. I rolled it up as directed and put my small items in a plastic freezer bag just in case, and I'm glad I did because things got really wet. I had a rolled up towel in my bag and I think it soaked up all the water that got in because when I got the towel out to use it it was damp. Nothing was damaged by the freezer bag, but I wouldn't trust it without the added protection. I suggest adding a towel when in doubt to absorb moisture. I definitely recommend this bag as it is sturdy. I'm sure everything stays dry inside if you can keep the water from pooling at the top, but snorkeling and snorkeling next to you in the water is tricky. The bag was perfect for my tube of sunscreen, hand sanitizer and underwater camera. Loops on the side held my D-clip snorkel gear and water bottle. A lot of people have asked about my holdall and I told them I would definitely recommend it! I'll buy a smaller one for snorkeling because I don't have to take everything with me.
