Quality and Value - my new review

I got this backpack to replace my older (2012) fül powerbag, which actually came with a rechargeable battery. However, the battery stopped working and instead of replacing the battery for more, I figured I would try an alternate bag altogether with a different zipping structure, as I carry valuables around in my backpack quite frequently.I have taken this bag to class for the past three (3) days, and overall this is a great backpack and I'm happy with my purchase. I thought I'd list some of the pros and cons of my usage so far:Pros:• Solid and durable. I have heavy law books that I carry around daily, and so far, it shows no signs of struggle in carrying multiple textbooks, a reasonably weighted laptop, and miscellaneous supplies.• Shoulder straps are decent. I feel a significant difference between wearing this backpack and others for the better. This bag seems to make the load I'm carrying feel lighter in comparison to other bags with those massage straps and back padding.• Many pockets, all with plentiful varying sizes. Sometimes there are pockets within pockets. This serves as a good security measure, provides varying options for storage, and creates surprisingly useful utility. There are many smaller pockets within zippers that are perfect sizes to hold smaller items/valuables.• The outer USB outlet is conveniently located. I have no trouble reaching the port or plugging anything in it.• This is subjective but meaningful for my use, but nonetheless the appearance of the bag is masculine. When filled, the bag presents itself well.•The price point. This is seriously cheaper than similarly structured bags on the market. It's a damn bargain.Cons:Please note that the cons are quite minimal critiques, as I rate the bag 5 stars, that if addressed could potentially make the bag better.• The inner-pocket USB charging cord is pretty long. Quite possibly too long. It is nice to be able to move it around anywhere in the space, but if you do not have it positioned somewhere securely, it's going to end up falling underneath everything in the main compartment. This is troublesome because with heavier objects, they could damage the cord or the portable charger connected to it, or both. To be fair, they provide small pocket areas that can hold a charger securely, but you still end up with too much slack on the USB cord, and objects in your bag can interfere with that. I would recommend shortening the length of that cord, and having a designated pocket area for a portable charging device closer to the top of he compartment.• I am concerned about the degree of separation between my heavy books and my laptop. The bag has a reasonably thin foam-padding to separate things, but unless I place my backpack facedown, all of the weight of the bag is positioned on my laptop. Would this necessarily cause serious damage? Who knows, but I am extra cautious when carrying my laptop in the bag. I would recommend adding an additional compartment between the main compartment and the bag for more separation between the main compartment and the laptop.• The Velcro straps used for the size adjustment of the main backpack are oversized and not incredibly strong. I say they are oversized because when closed, they frequently interfere with the zippers. They are not incredibly strong, as a couple books and my laptop will break the Velcro connection, causing half the bag, and my laptop, to fall flat on whatever surface is beneath the back. I don't really see the use of the size adjustment all that much for my purposes, so I'm considering cutting the Velcro portions off and just sewing that fabric together.Other than that, as aforementioned I am happy with my purchase and enjoy the bag. The cons listed do not outweigh the pros for me, and the pros are done well enough to warrant
