I was impressed by the performance of this drive. I tested it on a newer Lenovo gaming laptop with a drive connected to a USB-C port and again with a drive connected to a USB 3.0 port. The measured speeds were very close to the same connection. The flexibility and speed of this drive combined with the flexibility of the connectors make it an attractive option. There was no mark on the disk that I could find. I can't comment on the durability of the disc as I haven't had it that long. So far, so good. Update: I used the USB-C port on my iPad Air 4 to transfer data from the iPad to a flash drive using the Files app. It worked.
