I read a number of reviews before purchasing. These were the only ones that only had 5 starts at the time of purchase. I would say the battery life lasts for 2 hours. So buy a handful at this price! They are very easy and quick to assemble, sit securely on the handlebars and don't rattle. I ride some pretty rough trails with lots of roots and rocks and they still hold up. I ride with two of them on the handlebars and then another 1300 lumens on my head. I would strongly recommend turning on the headlights as well, which is very important when entering tight corners. (i.e. you can look into a curve with your headlight while the headlights on the handlebars are statically pointing straight ahead). If you drive at different speeds you will definitely need two of these lights on the steering wheel. One points very close down and the other a little further. Charging the battery is quick. The backlight works great too. (Don't forget to take spares with you if you're going on a long trip. You don't want to be stuck with dead batteries in the middle of the night.) Enjoy!
