We used this on a trip with our 9 month old. It worked really well - we stopped at 3 different locations during our trip and not only blocked out the light but also blocked out unfamiliar surroundings/environments at each new location we stopped. It smelled a bit chemically so I was glad I opened it a day early to let it air out. The only complaint is that the snaps/elastic straps around the backpack's legs are a bit difficult to connect and play with. I would like it with velcro. Oh, and the sunroof bag had the fasteners sewn on incorrectly (they end up ending up in the sunroof when we roll it up and try to fasten it with that, making them inaccessible and therefore totally unusable). Not sure if this is a design flaw or just a flaw in what we got. The window slide switches are correctly designed. We didn't have time to return it before the trip so we just let the flap hang freely on the outside of the backpack and played. It worked fine.
