We used this for camping - it provided my 1 year old with a cool and dark sleeping environment. I was hesitant to zip up and worried about breathability. It worked really well - we stopped at 3 different locations during our trip and not only blocked out the light but also blocked out unfamiliar surroundings/environments at each new location we stopped.
