I have invested in two other corner punches, one brand, both overpriced. I had one that ripped while cutting laminated paper and the store repackaged it and put it back on the shelves. Another (expensive brand name) cut off weird, off-center, and jagged corners, and I emailed the company. They replaced it with another bad shot. I took a chance ordering this one because of all the bad luck I've had with corner kicks. I am very surprised and pleased about this. It's a perfect cut (like the first one I bought which broke) and sturdy (like the second one I bought which made an uneven cut). Not to mention it's THREE shots in one! You lay it on the soft side, line up the corner of the paper, and wiggle it to make sure it's completely under the cutting metal. The lever is convenient, it can be pressed with one hand leaving the other hand free to hold the paper. There's no reservoir, which is good if you're using it on a smooth surface. Light but looks very well made. I hope it lasts.
