Decent base canister

I bought this to store the cereal my wonderful mother-in-law makes for my husband and I so I don't have to 'borrow' her Tupperware because we're always honest forgot to return them. Overall I like the canister but the rubber on the top (see photo) keeps coming loose on one side even after I try to put it back in. Although I will try to glue it. I'm not a picky person, but for such a price I didn't have to glue. It does the job though
