Review on ๐Ÿ”” LEICHTEN Brass Bike Bell: Loud Clear Sound for City, Road, Mountain Bikes & Scooters by Derrick Milkie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Loudest in this category

There are at least eight brands that look exactly like this (including the original manufacturer MIRRIYCLE). I thought the original was the loudest until I got it today. Without comparing it from the side, I could tell right away that it was really loud. I filmed the bell and found that although all manufacturers look the same this one looks very similar except the bell is on the moving part of the bell (not attached to the base). The coil spring is upside down so it seems to be banging closer to the bottom edge of the bell, which I think makes for a louder sound. Supposed to be brass or alloy, I've tried attaching a magnet to the bell but there's no attraction. So the metal is different and I'm sure it WILL NOT RUST because it doesn't contain iron. I also noticed that none of the bells have a thumb spring that strong. Behind a small metal door that I'm selling. I hope the thumb spring isn't too stiff where it still works for my projects. If that happens I'll probably buy 20 more of these before the end of the year. I seem to have wasted my money trying all the different brands (with the same design, not different in appearance), but I can save you a lot of money and tell you to buy these. Low price, strong lever spring, the bell doesn't rust (thanks to the magnet test I think) and personally the loudest I've tried (looks exactly like it). Hope that helps. One final note: the quality of the plastic, lever, etc. seems almost the same as the others. It looks like each is just copying the other. UPDATE: I just ordered (2) gold bells, cheaper but it arrived with a different name on the box (SINGGO?), The inside looks the same but the gold base is much softer. . I took off the gold bell and put on (swapped) a black one, same volume but quieter. (But both bells weigh 27 grams) I am sending back the golden bells. Just not that loud. I don't know why after ringing different combinations for 10 minutes. The gold base has a softer sound (even when using a black bell on a gold base).
