I had rotator cuff surgery and after 7 weeks I was allowed to have the bandage removed. After six weeks of my physical therapy and with the end of wearing bandages every day, I started having problems with new pains from not supporting the weight of my arm. I had pain bending over, twisting my arm in certain directions, and difficulty waking up in the morning with pain. This shoulder brace with fork provided just the support I needed for my shoulder joint during sleep and everyday tasks. My shoulder no longer feels like it "pops" with movement and keeps my shoulder in a natural position while sleeping. I have a 46+ chest height, about 16 inch biceps and my shoulders are quite broad. It fits perfectly. I also liked the American flag on the sleeve, the thank you note in the box, and the free American flag back pocket. Very happy with the purchase and the seller. I recommend trying it on and then washing it well as there is a slight smell of neoprene and other materials. The packaging recommends hand washing, but I've washed mine in the washing machine on gentle cycle and tumble dried for about 15 minutes on gentle cycle without damaging it. Velcro is not standard Velcro that wears out quickly like my orthopedic brace from the surgeon. This Velcro is built to last. Excellent design, durability and strength of the material
