The bulbs are bright, much brighter than any T10 or 921 bulbs that many people use on Japanese cars. The biggest problem is the installation, you really have to put the bulb in and hope it's seated with the o-ring. I would really recommend taking the light block out to give yourself more leverage and balance as you will need it to insert the bulb. After inserting and bolting the unit to the machine, it should be secured.
