I purchased this for carrying my work laptop back and forth when I started working a hybrid position. This has suited me well. Its not a hard case, so I am not sure about how much heavy duty protection it would provide, but that hasn't been an issue for me. I also have not gotten it wet, so I cannot attest to its water resistancy. When it first arrived- eyeballing it to my laptop- I didn't think it was big enough, but the inside pouch has pretty good give to it and it actually fit perfect. I think it is a simple, yet attractive carrier, and had a very good price.
