Review on Prepara Evak Fresh Saver, Medium-Tall Airless Canister With Black Handle, 2.3 Quart, Clear by Dave Phobia

I was excited to get my new airtight container for coffee beans. Not only would it store them well with minimal air in the container but it would look great in my kitchen. I took it out of the box and washed it immediately. While washing the lid a small little blue rubber valve popped off and went down the drain. Not knowing it was there or loose I was not prepared for a small part that needed saving. I emailed the manufacturer and got a reply about 2 days later saying they do not sell the rubber valves and I would just have to purchase a new unit. Needless to say, that sucks and completely defeats the purpose of even having it. If you buy this, watch out for those little blue rubber valves! I am looking at different brands for its replacement. I think a name brand like OXO that will stand behind their product is in my future.
