I ordered these for a hike I just got back from. They arrived a day before I left. I tried them on until I could pull them up and close the latch to see if I could layer them on top of each other if needed. Fits exactly as expected (as described in previous reviews. Solid purchase so far. Folding them up I noticed a few uneven seams and some frayed notch areas, but had high hopes for the quality of the material. Day two hike about Putting pants on and using the zipper for the first time.Problems.The zipper was already hanging on the fabric, leaving room for the zipper with three curved prongs.Remember the quality control in this company is really terrible, the mini leather man broke out , fixed to the point that I can catch them 3 times out of 5. I collected Consider it a worthwhile purchase and ask someone to replace the zipper.Enjoyed pants as these questions.The heat was good, the boots stayed dry .Went no more than six inches of snow but experienced ice, snow, rain, mud, rocks and held up great.*REAL PROBLEM* I got stuck tells me that these pants that I bought are actually used pants. When I started using the bags, specifically the left one, I found a washed piece of paper (used for kindling). Heard of prewashed items but didn't have a piece of paper. Quality control again, I thought. Never thought I'd be sold used pants. Then the label comes out of the right cargo pocket as you can see in the picture. I would have loved this purchase if it wasn't for the fact that these are used pants.
